Cookies we use

Cookie	What it does
AspNetCore. Anti-Forgery	This makes it much harder for bad actors to impersonate you, helping to protect your account. This cookie expires after your browsing session ends
AspNetCore. Identity	This cookie is created when you log in, and it keeps you logged in. If 'Stay signed in' is enabled this cookie will expire 90 days after you log in. Otherwise, it will expire after your browsing session ends. This cookie will also expire when you log out
AspNetCore.MVC. CookieTempDatapProvider	This stores temporary information, including error messages. This cookie expires after your browsing session ends
DarkMode	Changes the website's content with light colours on a dark background to reduce eye strain in low light conditions. This cookie is only stored while you have the setting enabled, and can be disabled from the login page or My Profile page
Accessibility	Allows the font on each page to increase its size to aid users with sight impairment. This cookie is only stored while you have the setting enabled, and can be disabled from the login page or My Profile page
parkingQueue	Remembers if you wish to view your position in the parking space waiting list in 'My Profile'. This cookie is only stored while you have the setting enabled, and can be disabled from the My Profile page
ValidatorCookie	Remembers if you have reviewed the cookie popup, so it doest't keep appearing on every page. This cookie expires after 400 days.

Offline-Specific Cache

When you're logged in, we try and cache the number of available assets (such as parking spaces) that can be booked. This allows you to see the number of available assets while you're offline, if you have the correct permissions.

If you make a booking while offline, it will be cached on your device. When you reconnect to the internet, these cached bookings will be sent to the server and cleared from your device.

Service Worker

We use a service worker to enable the functionality described above. This includes the Caching and Offline aspects.

How can I control cookies?

For most of the cookies listed above, we have explained ways to delete them.

You can also allow, block or delete the cookies installed on your machine through the configuration of the options of your internet browser.
